Jennifer Garner: Affleck is everything to me

07 February 2012Jennifer Garner says Ben Affleck is the "base of [her] life".

The Hollywood pair married in 2005 and have two daughters together Violet, six, and three-year-old Seraphina. Jennifer and Ben are also expecting another new arrival.

Jennifer says Ben is the perfect partner.

"Ben is not only my husband, he has helped me in every way," she gushed in an interview with British newspaper The Sun. "He is the base of my life.

"He is an incredibly loving and generous man. I expected he would be a great dad and he is."

Before meeting Ben, Jennifer was married to actor Scott Foley. The pair wed in 2000 after meeting on the set of Felicity in 1998 and divorced in 2004.

The stunning actress was left devastated by the separation, and puts the fact that her relationship didn't work down to inexperience.

"I did marry in my 20s and I found divorce a crushing experience," she told the newspaper. "I thought the divorce statistics would never apply to me. I was beyond heartbroken when they did."

Jennifer feels happier now than ever before. The 39-year-old star is older and definitely feels wiser.

"Becoming more confident," she said of the perks of getting older.

"I have figured so much more out about life and feel the older women get, the more beautiful they get.

"We become ourselves - which is something you can't teach anyone at 18." © Cover Media
