Marc Anthony jokes about Lopez communication

10 February 2012Marc Anthony has joked that he can't "communicate" with his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez.

The pair announced they were separating after seven years of marriage last summer. Marc and Jennifer have remained on good terms to co-parent their three-year-old twins Max and Emme. They are also working together on a Latin American TV talent show called Q'Viva.

Marc has downplayed the disagreements he had with Jennifer had while filming the series.

"We don't have communication issues, we just don't communicate. When you don't do it you don't have a problem," Marc joked to ET's Nancy O'Dell.

"The way it played out was really gratifying and really fulfilling. Now we're figuring out how this plays in."

When the first episode from the new show premiered in the US last month, Jennifer compared her relationship to that of Sonny and Cher - who continued to work together after their divorce.

Marc is glad that he and Jennifer can still be friends despite the end of their marriage.

"The fact that we're still working together and enjoy it... [It's] our shtick...From the second we met, we just goof off and bust each other's chops and this was just a continuation of that," he explained. "She's unbelievably professional and capable." © Cover Media
