Justin Timberlake 'strictly friends' with Cameron Diaz

13 March 2010Justin Timberlake has "made it clear" to his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz that he is not interested in rekindling their romance on the set of their new film.

The singer will star opposite Cameron in new movie Bad Teacher, which sees a foul-mouth junior high teacher, Cameron, trying to seduce one of her married colleagues, Justin, after being dumped by her rich boyfriend. Justin is thrilled to be starring in the film, but is keen to ensure his relationship will Cameron stays strictly professional, as he is in a "great place" with current girlfriend Jessica Biel.

"Justin has no intention of cheating on Jessica with Cameron," an insider told gossip blog Fox411. "He and Cam are strictly friends. Justin and Jessica have worked hard to get past a lot of turmoil in their relationship and they are in a great place.

"He is making it clear that he is thrilled to be working with Cam again, but that's where the line is drawn."

Cameron and Justin dated for three years before splitting in January 2007. They have remained friends, and Cameron is said to have "pulled strings" to score Justin his latest acting role. She is thrilled to be working with him, and has no intention of trying to rekindle their relationship.

"They've been apart for years, but they stayed friends and the friendship has only got better over time," the source continued. "Cameron loved Justin and they were always trying to come up with some project they could do together.

"She is very happy that Bad Teacher worked out - Cameron was gunning for Justin to be in it with her and she had some influence over the choice.
