Tracy Morgan rushed to the hospital

23 January 2012Tracy Morgan was rushed to the hospital after he fell unconscious at an awards ceremony.

The comedian attended the annual Sundance Film Festival this weekend and received an award at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards.

Sources told website TMZ that the funny man seemed "disoriented" and "extremely intoxicated" during his acceptance speech and was led out of the building where he collapsed.

An ambulance was called and rushed the unconscious 30 Rock star to a nearby hospital.

A spokesperson from Tracy's management refuted claims that alcohol was the cause of medical intervention.

"From a combination of exhaustion and altitude, Tracy is seeking medical attention ... He is with his fiancée [Megan Wallover] and grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care. Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100 percent false," Tracy's management revealed in a statement.

A spokesperson for Park City Medical Center told TMZ that no drugs or alcohol were found in his system upon medical evaluation. © Cover Media
