Jennifer Aniston buys $21m mansion

24 January 2012Jennifer Aniston has added to her real estate portfolio by buying a lavish mansion in Bel Air.

TMZ reports that the 42-year-old actress bought the estate for $21 million dollars which was $3 million shy of the asking price.

The Mid Century home is a large 8,500 square feet and has four bedrooms, six bathrooms and a great view of Los Angeles and vistas of the ocean.

But the estate is on two acres of land which even for the exclusive area of Bel Air is a large property.

The former Friends star is expected to conclude the deal and pick up the keys to her new home tomorrow.

Jennifer sold her Beverly Hills mansion last summer for $38 million and bought two apartments in the West Village of New York City.

She has been dividing her time between the East Coast and West Coast recently and has been spending lots of time with her boyfriend of seven months Justin Theroux.

The pair are set to hit the promotional trail for their new movie Wanderlust next month which they both star in. © Cover Media
