Angelina Jolie: Children matter most

30 January 2012Angelina Jolie "feels so fortunate" to be a mother.

The stunning actress attended the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards in Los Angeles with her partner Brad Pitt on Sunday night.

Although she was there to support her beau, who was nominated for best actor for his work in Moneyball, Angelina had other matters on her mind.

The doting mother was reflecting on the six children she shares with Brad.

"I am grateful every day, and they remind you every day of what matters in life," Angelina gushed to OK! magazine. "You just feel so fortunate that you are lucky enough to be somebody's mother and share that love. I love moms."

Brad didn't walk away with an award last night, but Angelina is still in awe of his work.

The actress admires her partner's philanthropic spirit and hopes Brad's efforts to rebuild Haiti will inspire people to act on the cause.

"I look at what Brad has been doing, and I think there is some good work being done, but there's never enough and it's frustrating and we need to continue to try to motivate people to do more," Angelina said. © Cover Media
