Angelina Jolie: Wedding talk blown out of proportion

30 January 2012Angelina Jolie says that recent reports of her walking down the aisle with Brad Pitt any time soon has been "blown out of proportion."

The 36-year-old actress responded to the rumours at the Screen Actors Guild Awards yesterday when asked about all the "ring-talk lately."

In fairness, it was her partner Brad Pitt that started the reports after telling CBS News that he told their six children he was going to "get mommy a ring."

But The Tourist star said that all the marriage talk was exaggerated.

"I think anything said tends to be blown out of proportion," Angelina told People magazine when asked for comment on the subject.

"Yeah, that was my fault," Brad interjected with a big smile.

The Moneyball star had admitted that he was "getting a lot of pressure from the kids" to make their six-year romance official.

"It means something to them," Brad stated. "We will [get married] someday, we will. It's a great idea. 'Get mommy a ring.' 'OK, I will, I will.'" © Cover Media
